West Chester Co-op FAQ

Do you have to live in West Chester to join the Co-op?
No, you can live anywhere, but access to the store and voting sessions will impact the good you get out of being a member.
 
How much does it cost to join the Co-op?
$400, which can be paid in a one time fee or in installments over several months. 

Do I save money by being a member?
Members get access to special sales at the store and receive a 2% discount on the cost of the CSA subscription. 

Do you have to work at the store to be a member?
No, although you are welcome to volunteer. 

What are the benefits of being a member?
Aside from special sales in the store and a discount on the CSA subscription, members get to vote for the members of the board who will represent them each year. Additionally, once the store begins to generate revenue, the member-owners will begin to receive divedends. 
West Chester Cooperative will be a community-owned grocery store—that means if you join, you own it!
