Earth Day Rally & Green Fair

EARTH DAY, Saturday, April 22

1:00 pm rally on the steps of the Historic Courthouse, 10 N. High St., West Chester

Invited speakers:  State Senator Carolyn Comitta and County Commissioner Josh Maxwell; Prof Ashlie Delshad on sustainable food and Renee Perna on the May 20 Porchfest. Music by Rev. Dan Schatz, Smithsonian recording artist.

2:00 pm March down High Street led by former WC borough mayor and train advocate Jordan Norley.

2:15 - 4:00 pm or so: GREEN FAIR at the Unitarian Congregation, 501 S High Street. New this year: REPAIR CAFE organized by Ginny Marcille-Kerslake: bring items you want fixed. Doug Tallamy-inspired planting, children's green activities, and food by the WC Cooperative.
